Programme:
  • Monday: ALPINE THEME - Explore the Nemesalm and the Klammbach stream and learn more about alpine farming and the dairy industry. Visit the bunker on Mount Croce. Optional: lunch.
  • Tuesday: FORREST THEME - Enjoy a leisurely walk through the forest to the Forest Chapel, accompanied by explanations about the local trees. Depending on your condition, you can return to San Candido from Sesto by bus or on foot.ptional: lunch at the Waldruhe Restaurant in Sesto. 
  • Wednesday: MOUNTAIN THEME - Ride the cable car to the Helm Restaurant and hike along the Carnic Ridge to the summit of Monte Elmo and the Sillianer Hut. Learn more about the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the border conflicts between South Tyrol, Austria, and Italy. 
  • Friday: THE HERBS & EARTH PYRAMIDS THEME - Drive to Wielenberg in your own car, visit the Hauser herb farm with a guided tour of the garden. Herbal expert Brigitta will prepare some "green" energy drinks for you to taste on site. Visit to the pyramid path and then a stop at the Pyramidencafè for something sweet to eat.

All excursion destinations are doable with a little fitness. The price does not include any lunches on the excursion days or tickets for the lifts.
Guests who book a shorter stay can also take part in the individual day excursions.
