Our family guide

At the Post Alpina, in summer a fantastic leisure programme awaits you. On 5 days a week, our family guide Marco accompanies you to the most beautiful spots in our holiday region 3 Peaks Dolomites.

Olperls’ Barefoot Path

Children and grown-ups can experience nature with all their senses on Olperls’ Barefoot Path, which starts directly at the mountain station of the Monte Elmo cable car outside the Post Alpina!

Wildpark Assling

The Wildpark Assling offers a unique insight into local wildlife. In expansive areas, families can observe various animals in their natural habitat and make exciting discoveries. An unforgettable trip for both adults and children to experience nature up close!

Funbob & children’s playground

The funbob Baranci is the longest summer toboggan run in Italy and a fantastic experience for everybody. The “castle” children’s playground slightly above San Candido is also great fun for the youngest and makes a great day out.

Nature park house

The nature park house in Dobbiaco is a fascinating place with a Forest World of Wonder, a Celtic tree horoscope and a rustic tree village. It is always open from Tuesday to Saturday from May to October. You can find more information in the Cultural Centre in the Grand Hotel Toblach or from our hotel.

Christmas market in San Candido

From late November until early January, the village centre is jam-packed with festive stands offering local arts and crafts and traditional specialities. Experience the ancient traditions and everyday customs here in this magical atmosphere. Enjoy the festive season with your loved ones and relive your memories of childhood.

Other adventures

You should definitely go to the children’s Kneipp course on Monte Elmo, the Elf Park in Sillian is within easy cycling distance, and the hands-on confectioners in Loacker.
